CEC with Canadian Common Law Partner

I just got a ITA under CEC, and I am applying with a common law partner who is a Canadian citizen. I listed him as non-accompanying and did not claim any points through his siblings. But now the application is asking me to provide all information about his family. I have a few questions:

Under my list of Supporting Documents:
  1. Proof of Relationship (required): Is this a proof of relationship of my partner and me?
  2. Family Member Proof of Status (required): My family (parents and siblings) have never came to Canada, will not be moving to Canada with me in the future. Therefore they do not have a Canadian immigration status. Should I just upload my partner's proof of citizenship? (ie. passport, birth certificate, etc)
Under my partner's list of Supporting Documents:
  1. Proof of Relationship (required): Is this a proof of relationship of my partner and me, or a proof of relationship of my partner and his family? If it is with his family, then which one? All of them? In the questionnaire, under the question of Does my partner have a relative who is a citizen or permanent resident of Canada? , we put Mother / Father as the answer. Does this mean we need to prove the relationship between his parents and him?
  2. Family Member Proof of Status (required): Do we need to upload my partner's entire family's proof of citizenship, ie, parents and siblings? (seems a little excessive)

Very grateful for any help! Thanks in advance!
