Hello All

Can Someone please help me with the case where the amount shown on T4A is about $4000 less as I did not work for about one month and this has not been specified in the experience letter signed by my manager.

Please advice what should I do ?

A mismatch of salary paid in actual and that mentioned in reference letter/offer letter should not have any impact. You can explain this in LOE to clarify any doubts in advance.

This is a discrepancy that could raise red flags.

If the information in your letter is incorrect, the best option is to get a corrected letter (they can call it an unpaid leave of absence). Alternatively, if you CANNOT get a corrected letter, include a LOE.

I am wondering why you have a T4A instead of a T4. That suggests you were maybe self-employed?
