Hi Everybody,

I want to know more about the CEC Students category.
If a person have done 2 different Post Graduate Certificate courses in Canada, 1 year each(each program not less than 8 months) and 1 yr work.
Is this scenario considered under CEC student category?
I m bit confused as they say"
a full-time Canadian post-secondary educational program of at least two years or
a one-year Master's program (certificates (Is is same as Post Grad certificate?) and diplomas cannot be counted) and an additional year of education, obtained in Canada, before admission into the one-year program (for a total of two years).
"
I would be much obliged.

Regards,
Jazz

No; you could do 2 one-year programs only if the 2nd program was for a master's degree.

If they are both one-year certificates, then you wouldn't be eligible under the student stream. You would probably still get a 3-year postgraduate work permit, so if you worked for 2 years you would qualify under the foreign worker stream (the work requirement might be reduced to one year in the near future).

yea it states the 2nd course can be Masters', MBA or Post baccalaureate.

I think Post-baccalaureate is Post Graduate program
