I'm graduated from a college last year and got my post graduation work permit.
And my 1 year of work experience is almost done, so is my current status still STUDENT or WORKER ??

I need to fill it out on the CEC application form...

thanks........

If you mean:

Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008]
Box 10, Status, you are "Worker"

Thanksss..Jess... Congrats on your PR......
On the CEC document checklists, i'm confused about the that point...
What documents should i provide ???? Specifically ...thankksssssss

If you do not reside in your country of nationality, provide proof that you have been lawfully admitted for a period of at least one year to your current country of residence.
Proof of lawful admission is in the form of a stamp in the passport or a status document issued at the Port of Entry or other place of admission. If an extension of the original status has been obtained, the evidence required would be a document or stamp issued by the ministry responsible for immigration matters, providing an extension up to one year or beyond.

Submit photocopies of:
• current or expired entry/exit stamps in your national passport
• current or expired status documents indicating the date you were admitted and the validity

Yes , you need to provide a photocopy of your study and work permit as well as the passport stamps showing your entry in Canada .

Hi Sita,

you only need copies of your study and work permits - all of them.

Hey guys thanks for your wonderful reply..

So i ONLY ONLY need to provide a photocopy of RECENT OR ALL study and work permit ..

Do i also need the passport stamps showing my entry in Canada coz i don't have stamps in my new passport.....????

No you don't need to do both, one OR the other. That is the meaning of OR.

So Jess, i just want to clarify it...

We only need to submit copies of STUDY and WORK PERMIT. It is good enough right .......

So we DON'T DON'T need to send the copies of stamps right ?????.....

thanks JESS and SITA.....

If you are missing any of your permits, then you can use the stamps in your passports. If you have all your permits, that's enough.
