CEC Seniors help me out on this

I am very new to this forum. I liked it a lot. I can see my kind of applicants here. Ok here's my profile . I applied for PR under FSW on june 10, 2011. I am residing in canada from 3 years. I came here on Student visa. I completed my degree in december 2010. I started my employement in march 2011 under the PGWP.I have it valid till march 2014.The company which i work is a big electronics company in toronto. I work 37.5 hours per week with $15/hour. I get paid bi-weekly. So my doubt is that Can I file CEC class coming march?. And one more doubt is that after march I would be leaving that company and look for a new job. So will this VO will call that employer?. Because the offer of employement was made as "This letter is contingent for obtaining PR from canadain authorities. Like I got a permanent job offer letter. So if i leave would it be a problem after completing 1 year of employement? Please reply.

Is your current job Skill Level A or B in the NOC? If so, and you continue in this job, you should be eligible for CEC in March 2011.

It doesn't matter if you leave your job the day after you apply for CEC. CEC is based on Canadian work experience, not on any job offer or expectation of work in the future. The VO processing a CEC application may contact an employer to verify the employment letter you submitted with your application, but that's all.

Would they still call if I got the T4 and paycheques , n stuff. T4 tells how genuine you are...! It doesn't matter even if they call rite. Incase if anyone's buzy and not able to take the call.

Hi bigben, you left out important details. First, what is your occupation -do you know your NOC?

Second, what kind of degree did you complete (bachelors, masters, certificate), and when did you start it?

If your education and employment qualify, you will likely be eligible to apply for Canadian Experience Class (CEC) after March 2012. Once you qualify for CEC, it does not matter what you do afterwards - you can change employers, you can leave the country, it does not matter. (Actually, you can change employers any time, your one year of experience does not have to be continuous or with the same employer, for CEC).

The VO may call the employer at any time to verify the details of the employment. This is NOT a recommendation, so no need to worry if you leave the company. If you DO leave the company, be sure to get a copy of your Record of Employment (ROE).

HOWEVER - you said you applied under FSW - arranged employment? If you leave your employer, your arranged employment is no longer valid and your FSW application will be denied. (CEC is "safer" than FSW in that sense). Why not stay with your employer a few more months until the FSW application is decided?

Also for the FSW, you need to have completed 1 year of skilled work experience before applying (does not have to be in Canada) and I don't know from your information if you ever actually qualified for FSW.
