CEC proof of funds - changing the amount after ITA is issued

Hi everyone,

I just received my ITA, and I was invited under CEC. In my EE I wrote that I have 12000 because I was told I'd qualify for FSW, but I didn't. I know it's not necessary to show PoF under CEC, but also I read that you need to prove whatever amount you submitted in your EE profile.

Frankly, I don't have those 12000 and I saw that I could change the amount in my application after ITA. Does anyone know if I can change the amount of funds, and if I will be asked the PoF in this case?

In lieu of the bank statement you can write and upload a letter of explanation stating that you were invited under cec and POF is therefore not required.
