CEC PR in progress - Visitor Visa?

Dear Seniors & Friends,

I came back to India and applied for PR under CEC category in Jan'14. Now my application status is showing "received" since last one month.
My company want me to visit Canada for some business meetings and discussions for a month or so...
As my PR application has been reached to Canadian immigration, does it going to have any impact on the Visitor visa application or vice versa does my visitor visa or temporary visit in Canada have any impact on my PR application? Impact on PR application is concerning part and I don't want to risk my application process due to this temporary visit
I need to decide and confirm to my company if they can proceed with my visitor visa application or not !
Any suggestions, guidelines would be appreciated !

No it is not a problem. You can apply for visitor visa.
