Hello everyone,
I might not get my PR before my PGWP expires (July 2013), so I would need to apply for a new work permit.
I am now changing from a job skill level B to skill level C. (job C is at a company I've always wanted to work, kind of a dream job and also they pay more!. My actual job title is skill level 0; I thought my duties would be skill level B as my previous job with same title but what I actually do is level C, merchandiser) So I'm going from merchandiser with assistant front store manager title to customer service/ sales clerk.
Is it true that the company must show efforts of recruitment when the position is skill level C, even if they are on a PGWP? I know they don't have to when employee is on PGWP, but I read that only applies for positions on skill 0, A and B. Is this true? for my new job they would have to show effort of recruitment for 3 months?
Now that I'm here, instead of making a new thread I'll just go ahead with my second question.
Does applying for PR under the family category (spouse) will give me an implied status? Or I still have to apply for work permit with LMO? My girlfriend said it if worse comes to worst but I'm not sure how that part/process or implications a spouse sponsorship relates to an implied status.
Thanks to all in advance.
