Hi All,

Is there a condition, that worker should have stayed all Work Days (2 years) in Canada. I have been to India twice last year for a total period of 4 months(including some yearly holidays), but was working from offshore office as Canadian Employee and getting paid under Canadian Payroll.

I am not able to find any clear clause about the same on CIC website. Most of immigration consultants I met say that it should be OK, But its not defined. Do anybody has any links related to this information.

Has anyone experienced this kind of situation. My current worry is about getting PR application rejected, if I leave Canada without those 4 months being summed up here.

Actually, the requirements pretty clearly state "work experience in Canada." Now, I don't think a business trip outside of canada would disqualify anyone, but being posted to an overseas office is different... t

So I would suggest, if possible, that you work another 4 months in Canada before applying -
