cec NOC 2282 minimum wage requirement ????

Hi everyone,

Is there any minimum wage requirement in CEC??? I am planning to apply in NOC2282. My pay is $12 /hr. People says CEC requires $14 in NOc2281 & $17 in NOC2282. Please advise. Thanks.

It is correct that average minimum wage for 2282 is $17: http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/report-eng.do?area=9219&lang=eng&noc=2282&action=final&s=1&source=8
For 2281 is $14: http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/report-eng.do?area=9219&lang=eng&noc=2281&action=final&s=1&source=8

The above is for Toronto region and it might differ for different areas. For CEC there is no official minimum wage requirement, but I have heard of cases where it is used for validation of the position a person is employed at the company. Take this with a pinch of salt.

There's no minimum wage requirement and with a pay of $2 below average, you're good to go!
