Yes you are eligible even though you do not have any job while you are applying. Don't worry and apply.

Hi

Will losing your job cause you a problem with obtaining an employee reference letter?

Thx

A

even if your company doesnt provide you job letter you can still apply by attaching Pay stubs or T4

but you are good to apply

thnx

Hey ... Guys ... I had interview call. That want me work as contractor with same above mentioned work.

My question is... If I accept this job as contractor. Am I still eligible for CEC ?... As I already have one year experience as fulltime employee.

Please reply asap.

Thanks

If you are 100% certain you have met the full-time, 52 week minimum experience requirement, then whatever you do after (as long as it is authorized) does not matter. The CEC program is pretty much pass/fail.

As far as working as contractor (self-employed), as long as you have an open work permit, then you can go ahead, just be aware of the tax implications...

yes. go ahead and apply

Hi Ap1

A fellow 7246 trade :) there are not many of us about on these forums that I have seen

As per previous replies, I think you will be ok as long as you have the full year's experience, get your application in!

if you don't mind me asking, what province / job are you working in? Message me if you don't want it public

thanks guys

Right now i am in Surrey, BC

Sorry guys forget tell you... that my BC-PNP is already in process... but i lost my job.. so, i am left with two options .....

First.....find new employer with same skill level and who is willing to provide my necessary papers and continue with BC-PNP.

Second, withdraw BC-PNP application and apply PR under CEC with one year experience.

thanks

You can do both... you can have applications in multiple programs... I'd suggest getting the CEC application in ASAP...
