Here are my questions:
1. Why does the dependent's status show as in progress even though the IRCC profile shows biometrics updated for both on November 15?
2. any experience on the current timelines for CEC inland common in-law applications or experiences?

1. It's okay and no issue.
2. You are within normal processing times. 5-6 months at least. If you don't get stuck in the security check.

It starts when you pass the eligibility. Don't think about it until then.
