I created my profile myself in November. I received ITA in February 5 Draw. I retained an attorney here in Waterloo ON in late January and handed over my application to their account in February 1. I also signed the use of representative form giving them access to my application. I am not happy with the representative experience so far. IRCC website says I can cancel a representative at any time. I created my profile myself, so I still have access to my account.

1. I have tried to follow the instructions on this page https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigration-citizenship-representative/change-cancel.html , but I have not been able to regain control of my application. I have easily filled the web form on my computer, but then the very last question requires a signature.Do I need to print it, hand sign it and then upload the signed form?

2. After getting the signed & complete form - The cancel representative part in the link above suggests that I send in the form via web form. However when I try to do this on the page, because I currently have no ongoing application, I am not getting the option to do anything. It says "Please select the name of the application that you have applied for. You must have already submitted the application in order to send your enquiry." What should I do? I want to be the only one having access to my application. I have not applied yet, I will likely do so in the next 2 or 3 weeks.

3. On my profile home screen, I am receiving the option to link my Express entry application back to my profile. However, I do not want to do this until I am sure the representative has been cancelled and would no longer have access. This is dependent on the two questions above.

All advice is appreciated. Thank you.

Why don't you just change your password to begin with and then worry about canceling this? This should give you a very quick solution.

The representative has his own separate account. I never gave him my password. I will still change it though. My impending EExyzxyzxyzxyzz application is currently linked to the representative's account, so at this moment I don't have access to it except I link it back to my profile[which I have not done yet]. Application has not yet been submitted. The representative has my EE number and can easily link it back to their account. I want to ensure my representative will no longer be able to do this.
