CEC Employment Clarification Letter

Hi,

I applied under CEC on June,3d,so my claimed work experience is 2 years(June,1st 2017-June 1st 2019) all full time 40 hrs/week. I got MEP and now in the process of background check. I received 2 document requests already:

1. Travel form submission. On the request it is said that the officer has concerns regarding time I worked in Canada I submitted the travel form along with updated Letter of employment, T4s for 2017 and 2018 and copy of all pay stubs for the employment period. Each pay stub has hours on it and YTD hours.

2. I received another request shortly after I uploaded above documents:
"Client Information: Receipt of information from client Provide a recent letter from your employer which includes your hours "worked" not the hours you have been "employed". This must be received at this office by: 2019/09/08"

Now I am confused what should I submit them to satisfy their requirements.

I believe that they are concerned because I have 4 weeks of paid vacation,so I get a pay stub for it with hours anyway.

The current draft of a letter I got from my employer is as follows:

This letter is to verify that ******, born on ****** is employed at ***** in the position of a Software Developer.

**** started working in this capacity on June 1st, 2017 and is still working in this position as of September, 3d, 2019. This position is full-time meaning that he works 40 hours per week. He is entitled for 4 weeks of paid vacation per year. This adds up to 1924 working hours per year. For the period which is claimed under Canadian Experience Class (June, 1 st, 2017 – June 1 st, 2019) he has worked for 3848 hours in total. This excludes the paid vacation time.

So my questions are:

Is there anybody who are/has been in a similar situation?
Is the letter above would be sufficient or I need to add something else?

Thank you in advance.

Not sure - hard to say what the concern is without reading the original letter of employment. There must have been something in there that was confusing or read as contradictory.

So, was your vacation benefit included in the original letter of employment? If not, I agree it is possible that your travel history may have triggered a concern that you were either working outside of Canada or on unpaid leave. Four weeks is more vacation than most of us get. But if that was the concern, it is usually quite explicit.

Original letter did not mention vacation time. Beside my job responsibilities it included follows:

This position is full-time. The salary is C$ per month

**** started working in this capacity on June 1st, 2017 and is still working in this position as of May, 23d, 2019.

So, the original letter did not state the number of hours worked per week? That is essential information, so... LOL what did the 2nd letter say? ... the new letter appears to correct this error. Hopefully, the third time´s the charm : )

The first letter included paystubs and t4s to it. Pay stubs included the hours worked. On the second request there was nothing regarding hours, just request for travel form. However I included letter with updated dates (end of august) and Paystubs.
