Hi,

I under stand from the website of CIC that we need total 1950/Year so , it becames 3900/Two years to eliglible for CEC.

OR

only 1950/Year if it;s continuous full time work will sufficient.

Thanks adavance
Duke.

Nope.

If you are applying as a temporary foreign worker, you need 2 years (and 3900 hours minimum) or the equivalent of skilled employment. It does not have to be continuous, you have 3 years to complete the minimum employment requirements.

If you are applying as a post-graduate, you need 1 year (and a minimum of 1950 hours) of work experience, to be completed within 2 years. It does not have to be continuous.

There is no requirement anywhere in the CEC program that employment be continuous.

Thanks.

One question in this line only.

I am on work permit since June-09. I have got extention two times since then. So my question is during extention process , it might happend that I was on "status where my current WP expired and waiting for new one". So can we consider the hours during this period if we were working ?

Yes, if you were authorized to work under implied status, there is no reason to exclude those hours.

Your working hours during the implied status will be counted if you were "in the guidelines" when extending your WP. In simple words, you must have asked for extension before the expiration of current WP. And if the total is more than 3900 hours, you are good to go for applying.
