Hi All,
I have applied for PR under the CEC category. Have used a combination of experience to be able to qualify under the CEC category.

Experience 1 is that of a line cook (NOC 6322- Skill Level B) in a restaurant which was for a duration of approx 6 months. I did not have any formal training or certification in cooking though.

Experience 2 is that of a mechanical engineer (NOC 2132- Skill Level A) which is my current job and the experience at the time of application was approx 8 months which helped me qualify for CEC category. I have a bachelor in mechanical engineering.

I have provided all documents including reference letters having roles and responsibilities, pay slips and notice of income tax assessments to support my candidature.

My eligibility has been under review over the last month and half. Even though the Express Entry system accepted me as a potential candidate, just wondering if Experience 1 is a deterrent. Anyone with similar experience, please provide your thoughts. Much appreciated! At least will help my nerves as I wait for the much awaited decision :)

Thanks a lot!

Quite possible CIC is checking to make sure you first NOC is the right one. To be honest - that sounds more like NOC 6711 than NOC 6322.
