Hey all,

So I'm a bit confused about the eligibility for CEC.

1. Do I have to have 52 weeks or 1560 hours would suffice? I work 37 hours per week, so that would give me a chance to apply earlier.

2. Here's what I found on one of the websites: "It is important to note that the 12 months of full-time work experience in Canada does not have to be done at the same position, it is possible to combine two or more jobs together." Do I still have to have the same NOC code? Or just type A,0 or B?

Thanks for your time -- I really appreciate it.

You need to have BOTH 52 weeks AND 1560 hours. Working 37 hours per week will not let you apply earlier.

No, you do not need to have the same NOC code, as long as you have 12 months of work experience in a NOC 0, A, or B position.

Thanks for your time -- I really appreciate it.

Can 6 months in NOC A and 6 months in a NOC B be combined?
yes they can, but note that you will have to meet the requirements of the higher skill level (i.e. the IELTS requirements)
