CEC draw stopped,Open work permit expires soon, need suggestions.

My friend applied for CEC but draw stopped since November and his work permit is about to expire in January 2023.
Can someone suggest me what to do?
His score is 500.

It's the same situation as me.
I'm also in a situation where the work permit expires at the end of January, so if I don't get ITA now, I'm in a difficult situation.

Should put up a request for extension as these days it takes a while to get it. So that you does not lose status by then.
