Hello everyone,

I have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Canada and been living in Ontario for many years. Graduated in January 2022 with a Bachelor's and currently completed 1 year of post-graduate work experience in engineering on PGWP. Throughout my studies I did 1.5 years of internship of eligible NOCs.

I recently applied for Express Entry, included only my post graduate work experience. With a maximum IELTS score, my CRS is 471. I didn't include my internships because then the system would consider me for FSWP (which takes longer).

I am not sure what else I can do to boost my score. It looks like it will be a few more months before I get ITA. Pretty disappointing after getting Canadian education and work experience I'm still way behind other CRS scores.

Any suggestions? Did I miss to include any eligible points? Thanks!

Options for increasing your score:
- make sure your IELTS scores are max out
- learn French and take that test
- secure a job offer (this would mean getting an approved LMIA)
- get a provincial nomination (i.e. PNP)
