CEC: change job after 1 year work experience

Hi, I wanted to change my job as a cook (NOC 6322) to a food server(6513). I’ve completed 1 year and 3 months as a cook and wanted to use that as my experience. Just wondering if I can change my job as a restaurant server while waiting for CEC draw? Will it not affect my application?

You can certainly change jobs. Keep in mind that NOC 6513 is a C skill level occupation which means you won't be able to count this work experience towards your CEC application to increase your points. Otherwise there is no impact.

Hi, did you change your job and were you invited under EE CEC? Were there any questions by the immigration officer about the job change?
