Hi there, I have a question about the CEC work hour calculation.
I know you can add up some part-time experience that extends over the duration of 1 year, to meet the required hours (30 hours/week x 1 year).
I got an ITA for PR through CEC, and want to make sure that I have enough work hours.
In 2016, from January to August, I was working at Company A for the following hours:
Jan 12 - Mar 7, 28 hours/week (=8 weeks)
Mar 8 - Aug 26, 35 hours/week
Then I got a new job at Company B:
Aug 29 - present (Feb 1, 2017), 35-40hours/week
I know any time above 30 hours is not counted. That said, if I understand the rules correctly, the only missing hours from Jan 12, 2016 to Jan 11, 2017 are:
2 hours (30 hours - 28 hours) x 8 weeks (Jan 12 - Mar 7) = 16 hours
And because it's already been 3 weeks after my 1 year mark, these missing hours are met (within 3 days).
Please verify if my understanding is correct.
Thank you!
