CEC application process time frames in detail please...

Hey forum,

while reading questions and answers posted by all of you here, I have seen these table under your names.

Category........: CEC
Visa Office......: New York
App. Filed.......: <date>
AOR Received.: <date>
File Transfer...: <date>

Can any one explain or point me a reference (in this forum if u have already answered this question or external site) which explains me about the time frames in detail.

this gives me an idea on how many months (or years) my application would take if i apply today.

And also about the Fee?
how much?
whether i have to pay full amount at first? or after i receive response from Immigration office.
