I'm applying under the CEC application and as a native speaker of English (Bristish born) I am unclear as to what proof of proficiency I have to provide regarding my English language proficiency. I'm assuming I don't have to pass an IELTS exam, but I have read on this site that some sort of declaration is required. Can anyone enlighten me, as it's not clear on the application as to hwat native speakers of English or French are required to provde.

Any help would be most appreciated,

Don't matter, you still need the IELTS exam...

Better start studying now... (Just kidding) but you still need the exam, sorry. Before I changed streams, I was considering this too, and I am actually an English Aviation Language examiner...
