Hi,
Today I got CBSA report. I found out that One entry is missing. This is the entry which I made on travel document (temporary visa) as my PR was not with me when I came back. The entry stamp in the passport besides the visa is black color with Canada Customs P.I.A/A.I.P and not the traditional blue one with CSBA name. Does anyone face the same thing before? What is the difference between this Customs stamp and blue CBSA one. I think Customs and CBSA is the same here in Canada so the black stamp should be in their record. OR may be this is due to the fact that I on travel document??

I will contact CBSA and ask for the missing stamp though. Please share your thoughts on this. May be this was the reason for the RQ which i received last Nov.!!....

When i first time landed in Canada, I got the same stamp. So technically CBSA stamp and custom's stamp is one and the same which also showed in my CBSA report.

Now, my question is: does your CBSA records were searched and printed using the passport number associated with the travel document?
If not, you have to request them to search the CBSA records using that passport to see if they can find that entry.

If indeed they did the search using that passport in question (please verify the search criteria mentioned on the front few pages of your CBSA report) then you have to contact the person mentioned on the cover letter for further actions to correct that entry. May be you need to show your boarding passes and entry stamp.

Also, due to that missing entry, does that affect your residency calculation days?

In my case I had one entry missing for land travel thus i gave myself extra buffer and then applied for citizenship.

thecoolguysam, Thanks for reply.
My records were searched by name and date of birth and all other fields were "All" including document types. It should include all passports (I have two during the valid period). I will ask CBSA with the specific passport number and lets see...

Yes, if this entry is missing then my next entry is in 2012. It will change the residence calculator....

How much time the agent (in the letter) take to reply the email. Should I call him? what was your experience?

You can call them and if they don't respond, leave a voice-mail and after that if you don't receive a callback, send them an email after waiting for couple of days.
