I have a very specific question to those people who ever saw an actual CBSA report.
I landed on March 11, 2009 coming from the United States. At that time I had a US visa stamp which had expired in 2008. However, because I still had a valid status, I was able to return to the US on the same date using Automatic Visa Revalidation Option. On May 1, 2009 I moved permanently and while crossing the border, surrendered my I-94 card to a Canadian border guard, who warned me that if I do it I will not be able to return to the US. I assured him of my intentions and moved on with my life.
The question is this: will the CBSA report contain the fact of me surrendering the US I-94?
