Hey,

I am a Canadian PR. I have a new passport from my home country-consulate recently because my old passport expired. But my PR card is linked to old passport.

So how does CBSA record my exit if i am exiting Canada on my new passport via air travel? Per CBSA website, for all travelers exiting through plane, the air-craft carrier transmits basic passenger info to CBSA.

CBSA is able to link this information together based on identity information such as your name, DOB, country of birth, etc. There's also biometrics. People get new passports all of the time and CBSA is able to quite easily link all of this together. So nothing to be worried about.
