Hi ,

I am looking to renew my PR card but I am unsure of the exact dates of travel in and out of canada during the period of my permanent residence. I heard that one can apply to the CBSA to confirm the same. Is anyone aware of the procedure and does the CBSA coordinate directly with Immigration on the same?

Regards

You can get a history of your entries into Canada from CBSA - check their website for their ATIP (Access to Information) process and requirements. CBSA do not have exit records. You need to contact the CBSA equivalent in the countries you traveled to each time you left Canada for their entry records if this is not recorded via stamps in your passport. Most posters travel to the US and thus contact CBP for their entry info. Check CBP website for the process. You could use e-ticket records, airmiles/aeroplan /flying blue/other flyer programme records, banking transactions etc. to help you confirm or at least narrow down the travel dates.
