It'd do us good if u could 'name & shame' the DMP. so that others in that region do not go there.nanji said:

I don't want to name the DMP at this stage of my file. Once I get the Visa. I will surely disclose the details of the DMP. By the way, the region that I am in only has 2 DMPs so we dint have a lot of choice other than travelling out of city to get our medicals done.
At least, they did tell me the tracking number of the courier service and I have verified that the medical reports have reached the regional medical center for CHC and now waiting for them to update their IS system so that it gets reflected in my e-CAS.

As per my eCAS, the CHC visa office started processing on 3 Feb 2010 and they sent me request for Medicals on the 4 Feb 2010. I received them on 10 Feb 2010. My family and I just did my medicals today morning. Hopefully the DMP will send the reports by next week. Keeping my fingers crossed and really hoping that everything continues to go this fast

I received email from CHC, Kuala Lumpur on 20-04-2010 - 5 days back - that my visa(s) are ready to be issued and they have requested me to bring in the Passports and submit the RPRF 
. They also requested the new height for my son.
They also mentioned in the email that my visas are valid till 23-02-2011 (i.e. one year from my date of medicals). I have to land before 23-02-2011. They haven't mentioned any deadline to submit my passports and RPRF.
Another thing they mentioned at the end of the email is:
"Please note that you are to enter Canada before 23-02-2011. Otherwise, you will need to undergo and pass a new medical examination before an extension of your validity date to enter Canada can be done. "
A few questions that I have for the forum here:
1. How much time do you have in general to submit the RPRF after you received a request (email) from them?
2. What if I want to delay sending the passports for a couple of months, any negative impact on my file?
3. I am send in the RPRF and my son's new height now (ASAP) via courier. And then after sometime has passed I take the passport physically to the visa office in Kuala lumpur, so that they have had enough time to cash the draft. My question is: how much time can I take (maximum) to delay taking my passport?
4. What if due to some personal issues, I don't want to land before 23-02-2011? OR What if I complete the landing procedure with my family and return back, and I go back again after 3-4 months? Any potential issues I might face?
Can anyone comment on my above approach and help me answer the questions? Any seniors?

You are lucky indeed.... Like you i also took time to collect all docs and I also have more than one overseas degree and had to collect transcripts and PCC, I organized all my docs in a very organized and well presented way for the IO (considering me as of in their place!!) but it didn't work out for me that fast as its been 60 days since my case gets in process and still waiting for further investigation... Thats why I don't like to agree that its about the Bcgk chek time or due to their workload because you seems to have had lot of docs to verify but its done in just 1-2 days but may be someone with few docs waiting enormous period of time.... Not sure what it really matters!! Anyway keep wishing us luck.....to be able to follow you soon
