Case Re-Opened!! Suggestions Please??

Hi All,

Hope some people from New Delhi 2012/13 threads know me n my case.. To brief you our case was rejected coz acc to them they did not receive the additional docs requested after the interview In Time (60 days were given to submit add docs).. Though the docs reached well IN TIME but thanks to our VOs!! However after appealing (ADR) with God's grace they decided to re-open the case as the V.O accepted to have received the required docs after rejecting our case & So decided to resume our application.. N now we had received re-medical & re-PCC as the old ones had expired.

So now we have submitted the re-medical & re-PCC 2 months ago along with few Forms (updated addresses, background declaration, family history, so n so forth) they have asked to resubmit!!

P.S the e-cas status is returned to Application Received from DM as they resumed the process!!

Need your suggestions when can We expect our PP back with Visa??

I don't have a specific answer for you, but since you stated that your ecas has returned to "application received" as of this point, it doesn't even sound as if they have begun processing. When they do, it will change to "in process". I would guess they moved you back to the beginning of the cue and are not going to resume it from where it is left off, however, I am not an expert nor an employee of CIC so what I think might mean absolutely nothing.

Yes, your situation is very different. That is why no one can give you a definitive answer or even really take a guess.

Even I think same way.. However what's weird is tht the ecas shows Application Recd but if you open (Click on APP recd link) inside they haven't changed.. it still says decision made!! It's so unprofessional.. They don't even update properly.. Even we are waiting for the ecas update or PP back whatever comes first.. Thanks for your reply dear!!

Yes dear I've been on this forum for more than a year now.. Even I haven't seen a case like ours.
However jus counting days.. Everyday is a day closer to the end of this Longgggg wait.. Hopefully with God's grace we'll get the PP back soon & i can re-unite with my spouse..

Contact your MP and see if anything can be done. If your documents were in in time and late documents were the reason you were rejected, a phone call from their office could get you bumped up again or at least get you some answers. You could always apply for atip notes but 30 days could be crazy making and not really get you anywhere or as far anyway. Try that. They're probably simply doing the final review. Starting again would be dire. Especially if you're going through Singapore. Seems highly unfair. Let me know how it goes

We have contacted our MP but not much help.. They were active initially now they don't care.. Yes our case shouls be in the final review as we have already done remedical & rePcc & passport have been resubmitted along!! Hope to get the good news soon.. Will update you!!

I'm sure your case is in its final review then. Sometimes the VO offices do mistakes also, however this seems to be all their fault and not yours i wouldn't worry too much. When my application was forwarded to the local VO office i got an email from them, asking for a few things to complete the application with that i didn't send in initially, police checks etc. They asked for medical, even though i had already submitted that with the original application. Got a follow up reply 5min later stating " oh sorry, we did get medical"

What i would suggest now is to mail them, and ask what is going on? i did this a few times and here are some fact about using the webform via email to the VOs.

1) they have to respond as per regulation (might take some time though, but at least you have some time stamp on your actions)
2) the person checking that email, would have to open your case for view, and if it isn't pending anything, likely to finalize it.

I'm think so too. It's stressful though. At least ND is only 12 mo. I can't believe they would start you again though. Case specific enquiry? Sorry, when did you resend again?

In India the original passport is required for the security checks which take time.
