oh my god!

Turkey why??????????

Listen this happened to somebody in another forum. Give CIC-M a call and ask them to correct location.

If u don't tell them now, this will delay ur case even more as the cairo office dosn't open the applications fast anyways, so you maybe looking into three months of delay.

"Mailing Your Application
Gather the forms the person you are sponsoring and his or her family members returned to you. Ensure they
are completed and, where applicable, signed and are accompanied by the supporting documents. Send them
with your forms along with all the supporting documentation to CPC-M. Do not forget to include a copy of
your receipt. CPC-M’s mailing address is:
Case Processing Centre – Mississauga
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga ON L5A 4N6
The envelope will require more postage than a normal letter. To avoid having your application returned to
you, have the post office weigh it before mailing.
Should you require confirmation that your application arrived at destination, contact your local postal outlet
for information on various mailing options available to you.
Unless notified otherwise, advise CPC-M immediately, by mail or facsimile (905 803-7392) if, following
the submission of your application, there are any changes to your family status such as marriage, divorce,
births, deaths, your address or telephone/fax number, or any other important information. When advising
the office of such changes, you must clearly state your file number, which will be found at the top of any
correspondence CPC-M will send you to acknowledge the receipt of your application."

Hi Egypt007

Don't worry too much, this happened to me and it was all fixed up very quickly.

When we received our AIP letter it said we had approval and that our file had been transferred to Buffalo - but I'm an Aussie and wanted it done in Australia!

We contacted the CIC Call Centre and they asked us to fax a letter confirming this mistake (they provided us with the fax numbers for both Mississauga and Buffalo). I sent a fax to each place and within about 1 week my file was in the right place and my sponsor received another AIP letter confirming it. And if your medicals went to the wrong place too it's not a problem, the results can be downloaded electronically from anywhere by any of the consulates (mine were in Ottawa instead of Singapore, but the Sydney consulate got them just the same).

Hope that takes a little worry off your mind. Just call the CIC Call Centre and they will help you fix it up.

I know it is frustrating to have that happening to your application. So let us know what happens with your application.

I am so stressed as I haven't recieved a response with an AOR from the Cairo office. It has been over a month and one week now. I heard that people have waited for more than that like 2 months to get an AOR from the Cairo office. I am leaving to Canada next week, so I am kind of desparte for it. I want to submit my documents and leave.

nope e-cas doesn't say anything. well, the earliest timeline i saw that was like after a month and 7 days. the worest one was like 4 months and heard nothing from Cairo. So it is in that range. So hopefully I am expecting something soon!
