Case assigned to an officer for review

I hope someone can answer my question. My VO sent me an email stating that my application was assigned to an officer for review. Doesn't it already have an officer? I sent my application in November 2016 and its being processed in Romania

It happens, nothing to worry about. Usually need to send it to an officer for them to review it also, could mean that a decision is made already.!

I hope so! I'm tired of the wait. Hopefully it would be a decision that would make me happy!
