Hello All,

I will be travelling to Canada next week.
Can somebody suggest me whether I should take all my original docs to Canada or not. As I will be staying there for long term (Study then work)

If I take only my xerox copies (Mark-sheets, Degree, Experience certs, previous offer letter etc). Will that work everywhere ?

Thanks in Advance

Better take all of them with you for any eventuality. What good are they back home if you need them (maybe) for some purpose later on. Cheers

If you're the kind of person to lose their documents, you're equally likely to lose them irrespective of whatever country you're in.

So you should take them along in case you need them in Canada!

I didn't state that because who doesn't keep digital copies of all documents backed up to google drive or dropbox anymore. That is a given!

surprisingly not with everybody ! So no harm done mentioning it especially when someone implies taking any hard copies from home country when they can print equally well in Canada.
