I have been living in Canada past 8 years. Came as an international student, after finishing a language school, I attended a co-op program in non profit school and school name is in DLI List.
Few years back I received ITA and my consultant who did all my paperwork since day1 sent my paperwork to government and we received a rejection letter. Because he included the school which he shouldn’t have according to the letter only public schools counts. Consultant put me back in the pool right away and said sorry, but did not do much help because CRS draws getting higher and higher I feel like I lost all my chances. I sent emails and letters to government to explain my situation I have been paying taxes, everything I do is legal, but my consultant’s mistake I have lost my chance. While I was waiting my PR , there were many draws I could have gotten ITA without including the school as well but I couldn’t do anything. I guess when you move to a new country it’s hard to trust people.
I did not know what to do just waiting since then hoping to have better luck next time and I wanted to share my experience maybe someone has any idea of what can it be done or should have done to help others who experienced this horrible situation. My friends who came with me same time are already Canadians. It’s just sad
hope no body will have this experience. Be careful with your consultants even they are legal consultants don’t mean they are doing good job.
