ACCES Employment located in Toronto is launching a new program called Alternative Connections. This program will benefit internationally educated healthcare professionals (IEHPs) by offering alternative career options to those who have selected not to pursue licensure in their respective professions at this point in time or those who are exploring other ways to remain connected to the healthcare industry while pursuing accreditation.
It is designed for IEHPs who possess healthcare expertise that they wish to transfer to one of four alternative career options: Healthcare Supply Chain; Sales of Pharmaceuticals or Medical Supplies; Clinical Office Administration; and Self-Employment (in a healthcare context).
To be eligible for the program, the individual must be an internationally educated healthcare professional in a regulated health profession, fluent in English, and a permanent resident or convention refugee of Canada.
