Hi everybody,

I had a dealership in UK and I will open my dealership in Canada. I want to sell cars from UK and my question is about the number of cars in a 40 HC container. I heard a product which allow me to ship between 4 and 6 cars in 1 container. This one could allow me to reduce my costs. I can't remember the name of the product. Someone can help me ?

Thank you for your help.

1. Can't help with the container, try http://www.schumachercargo.com/gallery/?level=album&id=16
2. But are the cars over 15 years old, or were built for the US/Canadian market? If not, you can't import them. See: www.riv.ca

The RIV program regulates only vehicles originally manufactured for distribution in the U.S. market. Vehicles originally manufactured to standards other than U.S. or Canadian, are not admissible. The RIV program regulates passenger cars, limousines and funeral vehicles, Class A, B and C motorhomes, multipurpose passenger vehicles (MPVs), disabled access vehicle conversions, travel van conversions, motorcycles, restricted use motorcycles, ambulance vehicles, trailers, trucks, snowmobiles (including snowmobile cutters), low speed vehicles less than 15 years old based on the date of manufacture, and buses (including school buses) manufactured on or after January 1, 1971.

Thank you for the information PMM but I already knew the regulations.

I have found what I was looking for. For people interested the name of the product is Car-Rak (you can find the website on google).

What do you think about this solution ?? Do you think this is a safe solution?
