Hi,
I am selected for PhD program fall 2021 at McGill for 3years. The CAQ issued is for 2years. Will this cause a problem in my visa processing??

From the date of submission (May 12th) nothing has been updated in my application except biometrics. Can anyone offer a clarity?

You need to renew your CAQ before it expires. That should not be a problem.
Most people that applied around that time are still waiting. If you submitted a full application, you will get a decision latest by August 6.

Did you apply to the university in Quebec?
