I am an American student who wants to study in Montreal in Jan 2013. I have been accepted to the University, and am filing for my CAQ now, but I am waiting on the official letters before I can send in my paperwork. Last year, I did an exchange program (2 semesters) in Montreal, but I did rather poorly due to adjusting to the language and then the strike that happened in the winter semester. I failed all but one class my first semester and withdrew from three classes and am waiting on grades from the other classes for the following semester, but am not expecting much. My concern is that the my CAQ will be rejected due to my grades and insufficient proof of funds. If I give my parents and grand parents bank statements, will that be sufficient proof?

What do you guys think? Any advice would be great! I hope I didn't mess things up too badly...
