Hi,

I want to know if I can submit certificate of Baptism for my wife in place of her birth certificate as she does not have a birth certificated available now. If we try to get her birth certificate now, it will further delay our application. On Baptism certificate she has her date of birth mentioned and names of her father and mother are also written on her that certificate.

i am wondering how would some applicants whose applications were received at 1 and 5 august have received there AOR at 20 and 21 October as i saw in the excel sheet, while the cap have been reached 10 days ago.

Any clarification?

NOC 2174 only accommodated few July.2014 applicants.
August applicants had no chances and their applications
will be returned due to capping.

I have worked for 4 different employers in U.S.A but I can only get job reference letter from 1 which is by the way the job reference letter MOST NEEDED to support my NOC 2281 application as it mentions ALL the duties required for NOC 2281. Also my Job title during this job was "Network and Computer Systems Administrator". For the other 3 jobs, my titles were Systems Engineer, Telcom Engineer and Network Engineer respectively. Is it fine if I only provide 1 job reference letter to CIC to support my NOC 2281? I do have paystubs, Tax returns and offer letters from other 3 employers from whom am unable to get the job reference letter. Is this grounds for CIC for rejecting my application just because I didn't provide them ALL job reference letters but only one?I have hired a representative Canadian immigration lawyer for my case and he said that it is fine if I don't have ALL job reference leter, as long as I have the STRONGEST job reference letter to support NOC 2281, it should be fine for my NOC 2281 application. I would HIGHLY appreciate your response!Thanks!!

This can not be a ground for rejection please.
All you need to do is to write a cover letter stating why these references could not be
obtained from your formal employers.In your letter,state the contact details of these
former employers and with that you should be okay since you have other documents
to back up your years of employment with them.
I did exactly the same thing for a friend under FSW2013 because she could not get her
reference from her boss but we provided enough evidences as proof of work and her case
was successful.
Since you can get a reference letter from one,your case is fine and you are good to go.
So,your consultant is correct.
