Cant find NOC (Startup/Entrepreneur/Business Consultant) ??

I seem to be unable to find an appropriate NOC.

I work with university funded startup technologies and I help them transform from a science lab into a startup. I write business plans, make investment pitches and raise capital i.e. provide business level support to the scientists behind the project.

I work as a part time business consultant with the university. HR cannot provide me with a reference letter as I am not a full time employee, but i can use my contract that only includes the following activities.

• Play a key role in business building processes of the startup covering an interim C level position
• Bootstrapping the company's financial and investment activities, support accelerating product development and generate revenues.

What should be my NOC? I know that incorrect NOC is a leading cause for rejection.

I didnt take the risk and used the NOC from my old job. turns out i was using an incorrect code and hence my eligibility did not clear and application was refused. applied again with the correct NOC for an old job and still waiting - almost 6 months and no progress at the time of writing).

Did not use any of the NOC and did not mention the current job in EE profile but did put this in the Personal History section of the APR. Whenever in doubt, go for a simpler route and provide ALL the documents possible to substantiate your claim. Best of luck!
