Can't find noc for Area service engineer in automotive industry In India.
I worked in Mahindra and Mahindra as an area service engineer and my job duties and responsibilities are as follows
Alotted a region only that area* *will come under your scope .
Your daily activities goes like this ..
1. Meeting with your reporting manager regarding field complaints and make seviority - priority chart and plan your sequence of work .
2. After the plan talk to respective dealer or respective area marketing manger from company side .
3. They will generally arrange a mechanic to assist you , so you reach guide him to finish the job . And pass the communication to company so that this issues doesnt occur again .
4. The above step goes on , Apart from that you should identify dealer mechanic’s and arrange training for them so that your load will be reduced .
5. You will be leading the service camps ,organized by marketing team to help the dealers .
6. Apart from this you should have close relationship with dealers to guide them about spares to keep in stock etcetc.
7. Most important is that you record every activity of yours through your ERP and record all corrective actions carried by manufacturing team , this completes the closed loop .
*Always the Service Engineers are the one’s who drive changes in the product , they improve customer satisfaction and service Engineers will have the best knowledge on the product in any OEM .*
