If I do not do my landing before the expiration of my visa due to medical reasons, can I re-apply? What are the chances that my old application and approval will affect my new one?

Well, I'm sorry for you. Yes, you can reapply and I believe your application will be totally new. However, any developments on your medical conditions which became known to the CIC might impact your new application.

Though you are the best one to decide on your condition, but I hope you can do your landing so you don't miss this precious opportunity.

Good luck,

Better to land and return rather than go through the process again.

I suggest do your landing and then come back. re-applying is time consuming. But ofcourse if you do not have problem with it you can certainly re-apply whenever you want.

Yes better to land and then come back. Bcoz reapplying is time consuming and cost u again couple of grants.

no assurance that ull be qualified again. better to land then wait for your pr then come back home.

Of course you can always re-apply but its a long process again. Its better to land and come back again. That way you can secure your PR. But your situation might be different, so best of luck.

I was wondering how long do they issue visa for? I mean the length of time since they issue visa until it expires.

Visa expiration is 1 year after your meds request.

Expires after one year of medical.
