Cannot understand email after my grandfather's biometrics

Can someone help us understand the email sent after my grandfather's biometrics completed? We assumed this is the next step of the application since the staffs said next step would be emailed to us when my grandfather asked them what should he do next. But we cannot understand why they would require documents for passport collection when they haven't informed us for my grandfather's passport submission. Below is the email they sent. I just omitted my grandfather's name and tracking id.


"Dear Mr/Ms ########,
Visa Application tracking id no ######### has been received at the VAC on 2022-09-09 00:32:41 AM. Please find attached the e-ICR (Invoice cum receipt) for your record & reference.

For Visa application process & tracking related information please visit the website https://visa.vfsglobal.com/phl/en/can/
  • Email: info.canada@vfshelpline.com

  • Collection timing: Monday to Friday, 02:00 AM to 04:00PM (excluding VAC holidays, please refer to holiday list on the website) with prior appointment.
You can now request for courier services for return of your passport post submission of your application. To avail the service please call our helpline number mentioned above.

Documents required for collection of passport:
  • VFS E-ICR (In case of third party collection - printout of the e-mail and VFS EICR is mandatory).
  • VFS stamped copy of passport data-page.
  • Government issued valid photo identity.
  • Signed VFS consent form from all customer's, for collection through representative including a family member.
  • In case of passport being received through courier, please sign the Airway bill/Courier company delivery sheet as an acknowledgement

That's just another automated message from your VAC. They're not asking to to submit documents, they're just informing you that you can track your application and what you'll need to collect your passport in case the IRCC ask you to submit it. They're also telling you they have courier services available.
