Cannot pay for my application

Have all my documents uploaded to my profile--- I am attempting to pay and it says refused every time . I have used my debit card- refused... I also tried my friends credit card (I transfered her the money so I know there is enough in account) and it would still not let me pay
Any advice would be appreciated-- thank you
Ps: I have sent an email to cic about - case specific enquiry

Please contact your credit card provider, make sure there is no barrier or restrictions from their side.
