Hi everyone,

I have 4 years of work experience from India in NOC B job, 2 years in company A and 2 years in Company B. Now, I am in Canada on my open work permit, working in a company C in NOC B job and waiting to complete 1560 hours so that I can submit my case for Canadian Experience Class.
Now, I need advice on few things mentioned below,

1. It's difficult for me to get the reference letter from the company A in India, I have all other remaining docs like appointment letter, payscale discussion letter and experience letter. Will this be fine, I don't have any other choice.

2. At present, I just have 4-5 months Canadian work experience, is it wise to apply for PNP? Am I eligible and do have chances of getting selected?

Looking for advices.

Thank you in advance.

You mentioned 1560 hours please note this represents 12 months full time work for IRCC (52 weeks x 30 hours per week) as they regard 30 hours per week or more as full time. Your choice of schemes would be determined by the CRS points you will have with your age, experience, accademic qualifications.

At present, I am working 40 hours per week so hopefully I will reach the required number of hours within a year and submit my application in express entry.

Any advice

It doesn't work like that. The max is 30 hours per work. The extra 10 hours you work don't count.

If you are working full-time, you do not count hours. You need to work one calendar year (52 weeks). Counting hours is only for part-time workers.

You need proof of skilled work experience - that is, something that describes the job duties and responsibilities you completed (after you completed them, not before). You have good alternative documentation but you still need something that describes your duties and responsibilities.

As always, if you cannot get a required document, you have to write a letter of explanation and provide evidence. That means you would have to explain why you cannot provide the required letter of reference, and provide proof that your former employr refused (e.g. an email refusal, a written policy, etc.).
