Hi,

My fiance holds a PR of Canada and is currently working in the USA.
What would be a better mode of visa application for me? Should I apply to Canada through Express Entry, should I go to Canada with him on a tourist visa and then apply for my PR from Canada, or should I apply for Spousal sponsorship on the basis of his PR?

What would be a better route to take in terms of my visa status?

Your must be married or common law in order for him to sponsor you for PR through spousal sponsorship. Common law means you have lived together for at least a year continuously. He must also be living in Canada to sponsor you for PR and must continue living in Canada while the application is processed. So he cannot sponsor you while working in the US.
