Canadian work experience

Hi, I need some help.

Back in 2014, while i was holding a Work and Holiday Visa, I worked full-time for a year as a motorcycle mechanic in Toronto.

I didn't hold any Certificate of Qualification while I was working, and I recently found out that motorcycle mechanic is a regulated trade in Ontario and you have to be registered in the college of trades in order to be able to work legally.

I have the contract we signed at the beginning and the reference letter they gave me when my visa expired, but even though the duties I performed and are written on the reference letter are the same as the ones on the motorcycle mechanic NOC (7334), I don’t know if I’ll be able to claim that year as a Canadian experience for EE since I didn’t meet the employment requirements.

The job title written on the contract and the reference letter is Assistant Service Technician.

I'm so confused and this can make all the difference in getting enough points to apply.

Hope someone can help me to clarify this because I wouldn’t like to claim this and get the visa rejected.

Thanks a lot.

Hi Diego,
I´m in the same boat now but with a different NOC 2151-Architects. How did you solve it in the end? Did you get your PR with that NOC?
Thank you for your help in advance!
