Hi guys,
I just want to get your opinions. I am currently out of status and got an ITA. I am applying for PR and then restoring status. Now i got invited through CEC, but my actual work experience is 11 months and 20 days, my WP extension refusal was on Dec 20. There are a few public holidays, so I am missing still a few work days to get that one year, which is January 2, 2025, technically.
Regardless, i am probably going to take a risk in applying since I did get an ITA. My background is i have master, perfect celpip score, and a relatively good job in a tier one bank, i know it wont matter much but idk hopefully officer would see my application in a brighter light as a well-established individual. My firm is still holding me by putting me on unpaid leave for the time being.

a few questions:

How common is it for my to get approved? If not approved, an i gonna get banned? I feel its a bit unfair if I get banned as I did not do anything fraudulent, I submit my docs as is.

if I get the OWP earlier than the PR, and work for a week , then techniclly i will have one year, can i submit a webform to inform this?

should I attach an LOE on the few days off one year? But i dont even know what to say apart from i tried my best to maintain status and get one year but it didnt go as planned.

Thanks again for the help, it is truly a stressful time for me atm :(

Your case is risky because the Canadian Experience Class requires a full year (12 months) of skilled work experience (1,560 hours). Since you are a few days short, there is a chance that the immigration officer may refuse your application. However, the officer has some discretion, especially when it comes to holidays, and you may be lucky if they look favorably on your case. You will not be barred unless you misrepresent information. If you submit everything honestly and the officer refuses your application, the worst outcome is a refusal, not a bar.

Agreed. It's totally at the discretion of the Visa Officer!

Thanks for the reply. At this point, I will have to take my shot since I have tried to extend. Worst case, I will get my BOWP and work for a week then I will reapply again afterwards. Does me having a job currently help? i tried my best to submit everything, due to the work holiday my paystub is until dec 29, 2024. So i really hope this skilled experience in finance is being favorable. Any recommendation what I should do to help with this? I also have some foreign experience, due to company policy and them being old, I was able to obtain reference letter and attach bank statements, this will suffice right?
