Canadian work experience 1 year to 2

Hi I was in my previous job for four full months , I'm my current job for 1 year and 8 months . Does CIC update express entry automatically or how do I go from 1 year Canadian experience to two year's?

You indicate your old job's start and end date, you then indicate your current job's start date and that it's your current job. EE system will calculate for you. When it hits the 2 year mark, it'll update your points.

I have tota of 25 months experience 10 months with 1st job and 15 with 2nd...i got points for 2 years but there is like 21 days gap in between those jobs.i cant put particular date in profile since it it just months..is it consider as continuous experience or its a misrepresentation??

Ive created express entry profile , that's why I'm asking does EE profile update automatically to get the points for 2nd year ? I've now reached two years work experience but it hasn't updated
