Hi Guys!

A bit of advice needed? I am currently waiting for the outcome PR Application which has been received at LVO on the 4th Oct 2013 with medical, the application was submitted through an immigration lawyer so it should all be correct (if he did his job properly)! I know I still have a bit of a wait in front of me but there is possibility of work for my wife back in Canada.

What we would we would like to know is if my wife returns back to Canada before my PR process is complete would that affect the application? I am assuming not as the application has been submitted already. Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

It will definitely not affect your application as immigration can understand that Canadian spouse need to get back to work or life in Canada. Also many people apply for their spouse from Canada while spouse is in other country. So your situation is straight forward and it won't affect your application.

Yes indeed, no problems at all.
And just to add, you could also return to Canada with her as a visitor and stay in Canada while waiting for your application to finish. If you change your address online to your Canadian address, then after your application is approved they will mail your COPR directly to Canada and you can then do PR landing.
