Canadian visa with EE profile

Now that I have expressed my interest to immigrate to Canada, will I have any trouble if I apply for a travel/business visa at the Canadian Embassy? Note that we don't have a consular office, everything is done through a mail. There will be no conversations etc...

Anyone here dealt with a similar situation?
 
You have only created an Express Entry profile, it's not an ITA. So you haven't applied for Permanent Residency as yet, you can only immigrate once you Receive the PR. Keeping that in mind you shouldn't have any trouble applying for a visit visa, as I think they only ask you if you have previously applied to immigrate to Canada, which without the ITA you haven't. You should be fine, good luck!
 
Ok Creating an Express Entry profile is not an application for immigration then. thanks a lot. If they have that kind of question on the visa application, I should just say No right?
